Is everyone excited about Jesse’s role in upcoming tv-show Locke & Key? Here’s some more information about the story and Jesse’s role to bring you all up to date!
The story is based on Joe Hill’s comic book series, named “Locke & Key”. The story is about a family that consists of a mother named Nina Locke (Miranda Otto) and her three kids Tyler, Kinsey and Bode. (Jesse McCartney, Sarah Bolger and Skylar Gaertner). The family returns to their old house after the father of the family, Rendell, is brutally murdered. The house is a mysterious New England mansion and was the home of Nina’s murdered husband. The story follows the family as they find out that the house is haunted by an evil force. The house has ‘fantastic and transformative keys hidden inside its walls that are also being sought by a hate-filled and relentless creature with ties to the Locke family’s past who will stop at nothing to accomplish his sinister goals.’
It has been confirmed that Jesse McCartney is going to play the series’ male lead role of Tyler Locke. Deadline says it has been an “exhaustive search” to fill out this final main role and McCartney seemed to be the perfect person for it. Tyler Locke is the oldest of the three children and has a hard time dealing with his father’s death. He isolates himself by retreating to his music.
The plans for this series based on Joe Hill’s (son of Stephen King) comics formed back in August 2010.
