Fed Cup and Monterrey
High time for a new post! Not really sure what to start with!
Well, I'm very happy with our win in Fed Cup and I'm glad I could bring a point and help my team to get into semifinals! :) It was a great, emotional week. We had an amazing team spirit. We all had lots of fun and it was lovely to have Elena Likhovtseva and Anastasia Myskina helping me everyday on court. I'm grateful for their support as they have a lot of experience. They brought a positive spirit to the team and to me! :) And of' course thanks to Masha, Sveta and Dinara!
Really happy to defend another title in Monterrey this year, 2nd in a row, what a wonderful week I had! Love playing in front of such great people! A very big thank you all the fans and my friends from Mexico and Monterrey ;) Also, it was my 1st full week at the tournament just being with my dad. It's been ages since we stopped travelling together in junior days, so he did a good job during that week! Thanks dad!
So the time goes very fast, just arrived in Indian Wells. What a lovely place it is! Now it all comes down to being focused and trying not to relax too much, haha, which is quite tough as I always have a lot of mandatory things to do and see different people. I'm gonna have a lot of tough matches later so I need to be ready when the time comes!
We got a WC with Jelena Jankovic into doubles. It's gonna be our 1st tournament together. Hope it'll be an interesting experience for both of us. I always have quite a few people around, but when I play big matches there are usually more people coming to support me. As always, counting on you, my fans, to cheer for me ;) That means a lot to me!

Madrid - 1 of my favorite tournament :)
Hi everyone!
Missed writing to you!
Clay court season is on and I'm really enjoying it so far! I like playing on clay, although I grew up on hard courts!
I'm writing from Madrid, it's 1 of my favorite tournaments and every year I like it even more because it's improving in every part, so it's great! Such lovely fans here!!! Was nice to see a little girl wearing a t-shirt with my picture on! I have experienced playing on a blue clay court today, it was fun and really cool bright blue color, so it makes it special!
I'm here with my coach from the academy in Barcelona and my mum! Unfortunately, my dad has to stay in Moscow to do some things! And my coach can't travel with me too much too!
It's great my mum made it to Barcelona just 2 days prior my departure to Madrid, so we could spend some time there and celebrate our Easter. This holiday means a lot to us in our family, and to all Russians as well! She baked "Paskha" for me, that's how we call a special Easter cake! And of'course painted eggs!
Oh, I had some problems with my shoulder in the Fed Cup tie against Italy and in Stuttgart against Vera. I had to call physio on court, but as soon as I finished in Stuttgart, I went back to Barcelona and had a lot of treatments, so now it's much better!!! Thanks to my physio and doctors! I just need to take care of it! Also thanks to the fans in Stuttgart, during the official ceremony I walked with a little girl having my picture on her t-shirt and group of kids came with the the flag and same t-shirts and were cheering for me during my matches there! Always nice to have extra support!
I'm happy we made it to the finals of Fed Cup, it's the 1st final with the team for me!!! It's very special for me!:) And always great to play at home!:)
The day I arrived in Moscow for the Fed Cup, went straight from the airport to make a photo shoot with a professional photographer they had invited from NY, it was really cool and funky! Loved the clothes and everything about it. It was for new Russia Tennis Style Magazine! Will post the photos for you as soon as I can!
So I passed my 1st round here in Madrid, beating Jie Zheng 60 61, was good, solid match! Playing against Bartoli next round!

对红土赛季的表现非常满意 尤其是对发往的表现很满意，是自己的突破 很喜欢巴黎，是自己生活过两年的城市，发往后回了莫斯科几天，和朋友聚了聚，现在在巴塞罗那训练了几天，马上要奔赴伊斯特本为草地热身，妈妈这次也会陪伴自己征战草地赛季！

Hello everyone!!! It's been ages since I posted something new to you! I've just been travelling around the US for a while. As you know, we have a lot of US Open series tournaments prior the US Open, so I started officially my US Open series with Toronto! Before that I went for a little more than a week to Las Vegas for the 1st time! And had a chance to work with Andre Agassi's fitness trainer, Gil Reyes, and also on tennis court with Darren Cahill. They are great people and great coaches as well! I went there with my new coach, I promised to tell you! A new challenge, always exciting for me! So my new coach is Carlos Cuadrado, who used to work with Daniela Hantuchova and Svetlana Kuznetsova in the past! We just recently started working with him and I'm really enjoying it so far! I think we are doing a good job and working hard! Hopefully, it will pay off soon!:) I'm back to New Haven this year again. Love to come back here again, such a nice organization and good tournament before the US Open! Still 1 more to go before the last Grand Slam of the year! So I'm trying my best to get in best shape and find my solid, good game for the future! Still a lot to improve, working hard, that's very positive and motivates me a lot!
