Ice fairies (also known as winter fairies) make ice and snow and bring winter to the mainland. They only live in the the Winter Woods because warm temperatures would damage their wings. They are the only ones to bring winter to the Mainland, since other nature fairies (eg, light, garden, animal and water fairies), bring the other three seasons.
