有一个自有词根充当的词叫做“简单词”
E.g. a, the, in, on, and, while, she ,when, line ,good, bed
英语词汇中最稳定的成分，新的简单词的产生比较少。
自由词根与各种黏附形式，特别是与派生词缀广泛结合，构成为数众多的派生词；
自由词根也可以互相结合，构成各式各样的复合词。
