A little jasmine
A little jasmine
In the pages she is lying
I read through the whole book,
To forget you I'm trying.
But each word is a footprint,
And every print has you in,
The scent of the flower
or the savoriness of reading,
Which to choose I know not.
A little jasmine,
From the pages she is falling,
Like the lotus dancing in the breeze,
Makes one gently hold it in mind,
Love is beautiful indeed,
But besides there is another world,
Someday we won't be afar,
For so young now we are.
A little jasmine
In the pages she is lying
I read through the whole book,
To forget you I'm trying.
But each word is a footprint,
And every print has you in,
The scent of the flower
or the savoriness of reading,
Which to choose I know not.
A little jasmine,
From the pages she is falling,
Like the lotus dancing in the breeze,
Makes one gently hold it in mind,
Love is beautiful indeed,
But besides there is another world,
Someday we won't be afar,
For so young now we are.
