带音标的《新概念英语》课文

《新概念英语》（NEW CONCEPT ENGLISH，简写为NCE）已成为经典。首先，NCE历经时间考验。NCE自1967年第一版，1997年，朗文与我国外研社联合推出NCE新版，已成为世界闻名的英语教程，出版量在我国一直居于首位；其次，配套教辅和影音资料很完备；最后，NCE通过完整的英语学习体系，全面提升听说读写能力。
在自学和教学实践中，碰到两大难题。
第一，由于课文中生词很多，需要反复查词典；即使查到词条，音标找到了，汉语解释很多，难以确定课文中的确切含义。查找音标和词义，浪费了大量时间，既降低学习效率，又打击学习者的信心。
第二，如何学习课文。我的经验是，背诵课文。疯狂英语李阳的观点：看懂是骗人的！听懂是不够的！只有说出来才是自己的！在实践中我深感其千真万确，背诵是高效率的，是学习英语的捷径。
以下是解决方案，非常高兴与您分享。
一、带音标的《新概念英语》课文
1.以句子为单位，对课文进行切分，方便学习。
下面是一篇NCE的课文。
Postcards always spoil my holidays. Last summer, I went to Italy. I visited museums and sat in the public gardens. A friendly waiter taught me a few words of Italian. Then he lent me a book. I read a few lines, but I did not understand a word. Every day I thought about postcards. My holidays passed quickly, but I did not send cards to my friends. On the last day I made a big decision. I got up early and bought thirty-seven cards. I spent the whole day in my room, but I did not write a single card.
