9. Sensational Literature. -- Immense. He appears to know every detail of every horror perpetrated in the century.
10. Plays the violin well.
11. Is an expert singlestick player, boxer, and swordsman.

19.自歪一楼~
每当有callers造访时，Sherlock会使用共同的起居室，而John则不得不回到自己的卧室，文中接下来有这样一句——
He always apologized to me for putting me to this inconvenience. "I have to use this room as a place of business," he said, "and these people are my clients."
（他因为给我带来这样的不便，常常向我道歉。他说：“我不得不利用这间起居室作为办公的地方，这些人都是我的顾客。”）
单纯觉得傲娇S道歉的样子很有萌点~~

（他披上大衣，那种匆忙的样子说明他跃跃欲试的心情已压倒了无动于衷和消极冷淡的一面。）

"There is nothing like first hand evidence," he remarked; "as a matter of fact, my mind is entirely made up upon the case, but still we may as well learn all that is to be learned."
"You amaze me, Holmes," said I. "Surely you are not as sure as you pretend to be of all those particulars which you gave."
（福尔摩斯说：“什么也比不上直接取得的证据来得重要，其实，这个案子我早已胸有成竹了，可是咱们还是应当把要查明的情况弄个清楚。”
我说：“福尔摩斯，你真叫我震惊。刚才你所说的那些细节，你自己也不见得像你假装的那样有把握吧。”）
好亮的一句"You amaze me, Holmes"！害卤煮激动得乱颤！！
原来这才是"That was
amazing"的原型？？！！
网上有一版翻译将这句译成“福尔摩斯，你真叫我莫名其妙。”怎么看怎么不顺眼，所以卤煮选择顺着自己的心发上自己的翻译~~
