On Friday August 24th, Carmelo Anthony kicked off Camp Melo from the campus of St.John’s University.
The two-day camp will include boys and girls ages 7-18. Camp Melo focuses on the team concept and teaching the fundamentals of basketball. Anthony is scheduled to give daily talks focusing on the game of basketball on and off the court. He will be joined by Jim Stoll, who is widely recognized as one of the best summer camp organizers in the country. Other top prep and collegiate coaches from the New York area will also be on staff. Each camper receives a Jordan Brand camp t-shirt, autographed camp team photo with Melo, expert instruction, goodie bag, and a opportunity to win contests and prizes.
