W: Not much, Greg. How are things with you?
M: Pretty decent. I wanted to know if you could do me a favor.
W: What do you need?
M: I finished my exams and I have to catch a flight early tomorrow morning. I was wondering if you could give me a ride to the airport.
W: No problem. I’ll be driving right by there. What time do you need to be there?
M: My flight leaves at 7:00 a.m. and I should get there 30 minutes before it leaves.
W: I guess we should leave at about 6:00 then.
M: Thanks, Kate. I really appreciate it.
W: I’ll see you tomorrow morning at 6:00 in front of the dormitory.

M: Yea. Since I got one of the five highest grades in her economics class, she asked me if I’d be interested in working as her assistant next term and I am here now for my interview.
W: Oh, yes. I know all about the job. I did it two years ago.
M: Really? Did you like it?
W: I think it was the best job I’ve had at school. It paid 15 dollars an hour which was two dollars an hour more than I got working at the school post office the year before.
M: Wow! That’s a good salary.
W: You also learn how to use computer database. And building up your computer skills is a good preparation for lots of jobs.
M: The job sounds great. But I’m a little worried about how much time it might take.
W: It’s pretty reasonable. It never took me more than five hours a week to do the job.
M: That sounds manageable.
