London Oratory School Schola was established in September 1996 as a means of providing Catholic boys a rigorous choral education within the maintained sector, something hitherto only available in the independent sector. The development carried the full support and encouragement of the Archbishop of Westminster, Cardinal Hume. The Schola sings at the Saturday evening Mass at the Oratory Church every week in term time and at other Masses and services during and outside term, and in the School Chapel during the week. In addition to the liturgical commitment, concert work and touring will become a regular feature of the choristers' lives. The Current Director is Lee Ward. The Schola's patrons are HRH Princess Michael of Kent, Simon Callow CBE and the renowned Scottish composer James Macmillan.
Bonus track for Korean edition Lyrics THE SALLEY GARDENS Down by the Salley gardens, my love and I did meet; She passed the Salley gardens with little snow-white feet. She bid me take love easy, as the leaves grow on the tree; But I, being young and foolish, with her would not agree. In a field by the river, my love and I did stand, And on my leaning shoulder she laid her snow-white hand. She bid me take life easy, as the grass grows on the weirs; But I was young and foolish, and now am full of tears. William Butler Yeats (1865-1939)
