Marat has entered the Doubles as a WC (Wild Card) and playing with Alex Bogdanovic.
Will probably play doubles on Monday before his 2nd round singles match on either Tuesday or Wednesday. Marat is seeded 8 so has a bye into the 2nd round.
If anyone is wondering why Marat is playing with Bogdanovic - Peter Lundgren Marat's ex coach and still great friend - works for British tennis and has been helping Alex with his game as part of the British Tennis team. Alex is a talented player but has more problems than Marat ever had!!
I am sure Peter was the one who got the doubles team together - practice for Marat and a wonderful boost for his charge - Bogdanovic!
