Don't know where to start, but you should learn some basic economics before insulting our President, who probably know more than you how to solve this debt problem.
Debt has repaying terms. Just like you borrow money to buy a house, the banks can't ask you to repay the whole debt any time they want, as long as you are paying the interest on time. US is not defaulting now and so China has no right to ask US to pay it all back now.
The debt ceiling is not a way to borrow more money. It is a way to allow the government to pay back the debt it already owed. And most of the money was already spent. Even if the President spends absolutely 0, he still need to raised the ceiling since we spent so much already in the wars the previous President started that wasn't paid for.

Military is there because of the military industrial complex. Most of the money was spent inside the country to make all those weapon, supported by the local government and senators. If you totally cut them off, many people will lose jobs because of it and more people will protest.
Also, war was not started by this President, who I supported. He is actually trying to close them down and limit our involvement in foreign country. However, Washington hawk like McCain and Graham is not making it easy and oppose him all the way. The incoming defense secretary, widely known for his wishes to cut defense spending, was strongly opposed by those people.
Beside, it is congress' responsibility to approve budget, not the President, all of them are voted in by voters, directly or indirectly. Whether people have good choices, that is a different story. But still, you can't be a dictator without people support. The current president was RE-elected, meaning people know what he will do, and still vote for him. What he believe is up to him and he has freedomof thought. What he did showed no sign of changing this country any less democratic.

Looking at the stuff you said is just "cute". Military was already the biggest part of government spending in Bush's turn. Obama did not cut down the spending, but increased spending. I did not say to cut down the national defense COMPLETELY, you are taking my words wrong.900 bases are overseas, not in U.S., my point is bring them back, cut down does not mean eliminate. It's much more EXPENSIVE to support that many bases OVERSEAS.
I suggest you to look up some of the crap that Obama did by using his EXECUTIVE order, without the consent of the Congress. Just like Bush, he pushed the war in the middle East through without Congress saying YES. He was so afraid that someone is going to kill him, because the sh!ts he did pissed off a lot of people, he used his executive order(again) passed a bill that basically says Obama now has lifetime Secret Service protection for himself, George W. Bush, and all subsequent presidents.
If he did all he could to keep the country Democratic, why is he so scared someone will assassinate him? huh?

If "life time protection" is the thing you have to worry about, then we have no more important issue. We here in the US respect the office of the Presidency. It is a disgrace to our country if we can protect someone like a President, current or past, who represent our office and gave so much for this country. It is not an easy job to be a President.

We are not on the same page here, you are protecting someone that clearly violated the Constitution, taking the civil rights away from the public. The Constitution is made for civilians, it limits how much power the national government has, includes President. Yet, little by little, he is taking the Bill of Rights away. The bill he signed is slowly taking away American citizens's freedom of speech, anything people post online is recorded, and sent to the FBI or CIA, if you say anything about how the U.S. government is not doing their job, they put you on a watchlist, so now tell me, where is the freedom of petition and speech? Before Obama, this kind bill was never brought up. Only socialist leaders and countries censor the media. And some people now still believe the news are reliable! What a joke.
