Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz made sure they were on their best behaviour earlier this week when they enjoyed an intimate dinner in the company of The Queen.
The married couple were amongst a select group of actors to be invited by special invitation to dine with The Queen and Prince Philip at Windsor Castle – and her majesty was said to be keen 'to renew her acquaintance' with 007 hunk Craig after they appeared together in a spoof film for the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony.
“She was on sparkling form,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “There was a very warm, jolly atmosphere.”
“Your sensational appearance at the opening ceremony of last year's (Olympics was especially memorable,” he said. “So much so that several of my colleagues here tonight want you to know that should you wish to take it further into the world of British films that they have a number of scripts with them here this evening.”
Craig had previously grumbled that he was in a 'bad mood' when he filmed his segment with The Queen, because it took place on his day off.
