Italiana & Française,
I've been away a lot the last two months so I haven't had much time to work on D-day, this is a round up of what I have done tho.

This simple pier structure is used to house italy's new seaplanes. They are specialized in anti-ship work, carrying aerial torpedoes, depth charges & mines. Gameplay wise they are the equivalent of the other sides submarines or aircraft carriers etc.

This 40ton box was Italy's first tank, two where built in 1918 just as WWI finished. Both where then sent to Libya but a year later only one returned. In 1934 the surviving tank was fixed up & rearmed with two new 37mm cannons & then used for propaganda parades. After tho all trace of it was lost with it's fate unknown.

I made this tank awhile go but I've recently found more information about it so it's been given a makeover with a new turret & wheels/suspension to make it more accurate.

The first of Italy's seaplanes, the S.55 was a revolutionary design when built, breaking just about every record in the book! In 1933 24 of them famously flew nonstop across the Atlantic from Italy to America for an expo in Chicago.

The maiale is a manned torpedo driven by Italy's elite naval commandos, which they used to stealthily sneak up on enemy ships & plant explosives. One group set up a base in an old shipwreck just outside of Gibraltar & conducted several raids on the harbor there, the British didn't find out that they where so close until after the war.

Prototype cargo truck using a unusual articulated body to move over ruff terrain. Production was planned to start in 1940 but France fell before they could start.

Another tank I made awhile ago but but with bad info, this one needed remaking from scratch tho!

One of five tank designs that was competing to become Frances new medium tank, as usual tho France fell before any where built.

Post-war APC built using the basic components of the famous AMX-13 light tank.

The Farfadet is France's first VTOL plane, using both a nose mounted turboprop for forward movement & a tip-jet system for vertical takeoff. Primary meant for transport duties, I've hypothetically equipped it with wing mounted cannons for ground attack tho.
PS: All of the French & Italian ground unit screenshots have been redone to the new layout.
