Today I fly to Washington, D.C. in the hopes that I can stand outside of the Supreme Court of the United States of America tomorrow morning and hear that they have ruled in favor of marriage equality. --------------------- In the 14 months since I have posted my YouTube video, “It Could Happen To You,” I have heard from thousands of you. Many of you have said that learning about my story has made you understand that LGBT citizens deserve full equality. Many of you now see that Civil Unions and Domestic Partnerships are not an acceptable alternative. -------------------- Thank you all for doing your part in making this issue of human rights visible. By sharing my video you have not only kept the memory of my partner Tom alive, but you have helped to create awareness of the injustice and bringing acceptance to light.
