Thanksgiving is a day to count our blessings, and to take a moment to be grateful for the challenges that have helped us learn and grow. The past few years of my life have brought pain and heartache, but also a multitude of positive experiences for which I am beyond grateful. Today, and everyday, I am thankful for Tom, my supportive parents, loving family, fun friends, and my furry companion, Justin. I am also beyond thankful for the support that you all have given#BridegroomMovie. It's been a whirlwind of a year, and each day I wake up feeling truly privileged and humbled by this life. I probably don't say it enough, but I hope each and every one of you know how happy and thankful I am for your love and kindness. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

My sister, niece, & nephew met up w/ me &@ztm86 in Dallas today to visit the ICE Theatre, which is an annual exhibit made up of 2 million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures and slides! So cold, but so fun. :)

REDBOX, which recently stopped renting out documentaries from its popular kiosks, has decided to make an exception and add #BridegroomMovie to its vast inventory of movies and games. REDBOX President Anne Saunders believes that #BRIDEGROOM tells an important story and contains a powerful message that should be available to its millions of customers. Anne has pledged to get BRIDEGROOM into all of REDBOX's 44,000 kiosks by December 17th. She went one step further by adding that REDBOX will do something it has never done before, and contribute 5% of BRIDEGROOM'S proceeds to these wonderful human rights groups: GLAAD, GLSEN, PFLAG, and FREEDOM TO MARRY. This generous gesture could pose a great risk to REDBOX, so I encourage all of you to join me in showing gratitude to this incredible company by visiting a kiosk near you and not only renting BRIDEGROOM, but one of the other 200 available titles. With any luck, the success of BRIDEGROOM will ensure that other important documentaries will be made available in their kiosks in the future. Demi Lovato has been an inspiration to millions of people, including myself, for years; so when she recently posted on Twitter about watching #BridegroomMovie, I was blown away. She could use this influential platform for so many other things, and the fact that she chose to spread Bridegroom's message has honored me deeply. Music has the power to comfort and heal us during some of life's most difficult and painful moments. Demi's song "Skyscraper" resonated with me on many levels following Tom's death, and I'm beyond grateful that she she has been able to use her talent and artistry to triumph over her personal struggles, and help so many of us through our own. My mom, sister, and I had such a wonderful night last night at #TrevorLive. We were truly honored and grateful to be there and to share our story with a room full of so much love and compassion. Before we went on stage, the three of us agreed not to look at each other--we always get emotional when we make eye contact. We failed, horribly (ha ha), but having spent most of my life suppressing my feelings and emotions, it is a relief to be able to cry without hesitation or shame. :) We are so thankful for the #TrevorProject, and all that it does do to provide hope to those struggling. This organization is invaluable and had I known about it when I was a teenager, I certainly would have utilized its lifeline.
