Following a BA Hons degree from Central St Martins in Fine Art, Ed explored his passion for performing through music with Foreign Beggars, Plan B, Asian Dub Foundation and Nathan 'Flutebox' Lee. His first acting role was the lead in iLL Manors, a role written specifically for him by best friend, Ben Drew. This was followed by key roles in Kieron Hawkes's 'Piggy' and Nick Love's 'The Sweeney'. In 2013 Ed appeared on HBO's 'Game of Thrones' and made his British and French TV Debut in Canal+ and Sky Atlantics 'The Tunnel' a re-make of the Scandinavian Hit TV series 'The Bridge'. Ed then played 'Hjorr' in 'Northmen - A Viking Saga', Saxon dweller 'Treden' in Vertigo Films 'Sword of Vengeance', Callum in Tom Daley's 'Tiger House' in Cape Town, South Africa. In Summer 2014, after completing 'Owen Harris's 'Kill your Friends', Ed took over from Jason Statham as Frank Martin in Luc Besson's 'The Transporter Legacy' before playing Fashion Photographer Shane White in Sundance Award winning Mads Matthiesen's 'The Model'. Ed was hailed as a '2013 Star of Tomorrow' by Screen International Magazine. When not performing on a stage or studio, Ed is an accomplished athlete and charity fund-raiser. He has swum the English Channel for the NSPCC, cycled 1000 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats for KidsCo. and setup a successful Childrens Swimming Academy in Islington. Ed is a trustee for Ben Drew's 'Each One Teach One' charity and a Princes Trust celebrity youth Ambassador.

As a rapper, he has worked with artists such as Foreign Beggars, Nathan Flutebox Lee, Asian Dub Foundation and Plan B while touring throughout the UK and Europe. Since moving into acting, he has appeared in the films Piggy and Ill Manors. He has been cast in the role of Daario Naharis for the third season of Game of Thrones.
