After a council discussion that ended in a dead-lock and the tier leaders finally discussing Genesect, it has been decided that Genesect will remain unbanned in XY OU (Hannah and Oak opposing the ban while I advocated the ban). Although this decision wasn't unanimous, the suspect had to end sooner or later and this is the final verdict after drawn-out discussion on the matter. Please refrain from complaining in open threads (such as the Potential Suspect Discussion) if you disagree as there has been plenty of time to voice opinions in this thread and if you disregard this, then you'll get infracted and/or warned. Finally, remember to use the aforementioned Potential Suspect thread to bring up future controversial and possibly broken pokemon / aspects of OU (i.e: Baton Pass) in the metagame.
Thank you to everyone who partook in this discussion --- although the quality of many posts was arguably lacking, this will hopefully improve in the future, so don't quit sharing your opinions or get shunned away as we encourage effort and thorough discussion of suspects!
