/正能量/ 请听我说。你必须明白。我只想找回我幸福的无知时光。你可以把这些都拿走；我不在乎。
/闪回/ 你把这些碎片粘到一起，拼成一幅图，我曾经求你别给我看。但我现在已经看到了。我还看到了她现在在哪儿。
/指引灵魂/ 从我上次提起这一切…已经过去很久很久了。或许这画面跟我想象的不太一样。

/Illumination/ Ohmy…This one makes me hark back to my childhood. Our ignorance was bliss.We never could have foreseen the dark days ahead…
/A Cold Heart/ It's not fair of you to rummage through my things. When you're young, you rush to turn over every stone. But you must take time - to prepare for what may be underneath.
/Ray of Light/ You! You poke, and you prod, and it reminds me…And I don't want to be reminded.
/Positive Energy/ Please. You must understand. I want my blissful ignorance. You can take all this; Idon't care.
/Flashback/ You stuck the shards together to form a mosaic I begged you not to show me.But I see it now. And I see where she is now.
/Guiding Spirit/ It's been so long since I've spoken about all this. Perhaps the picture isn't quite what I thought.
/In Bloom/ The roses…How could I have forgotten them?
/Resolution/ The truths we spend our lives learning are worth struggling to reclaim.
/Testament/ Is that the time? It goes so fast, doesn't it…. We should finish.

A short history of why this puzzle game has rain, pearlsand a house full of paintings.
Quell began in 1995 on an old Z80 computer. It lookedquite different back then!
After a complete makeover, the visual theme became'raindrops on a window'.
It would take much longer to settle on the visual style ofthe other scene elements.
While the puzzles were being devised, several differentart styles were tested.
...although 'Doodle Quell' wasn't one of them! However,we'd finally settled on our cast.
Having a back-story in mind helped us to shape the game,even though we decided not to include it.
This back-story helped influence both the interface designand the soundtrack (by composer Steven Cravis).
