英语的词序：主 + 谓 + 宾 + 状语（状语顺序：方式 + 地点 + 时间）
英语的句子甚至简单到：（主语 +） 动词
（时态即是动词；即是谓语；即是谓语动词）
汉语的词序：主 + 状语 + 谓 + 宾（汉语中的状语顺序为：时间 + 地点 + 方式）
例句：
英语：I read English loudly in the park everymorning.
英语词序：
主 谓 宾 方式状语 地点状语 时间状语
汉语语义：我 每天早晨 在公园里 大声地 朗读 英语。
汉语词序：主语 时间状语地点状语方式状语 谓语 宾语
当然，主语或宾语（名词或代词等）的前面可以有定语（叫做前置定语）；
在主语或宾语（名词或代词等）的后面也可以出现定语（称为后置定语）。
后置定语，
即[两个/两个单词以上组成的]词组/短语/句子作定语时，须放在它所修饰的名/代词之后。

下面红色字体的为名词或代词；而黑字是它的定语
1. something(名词或代词) nice; （形容词作something的后置定语）
something(名词或代词) toeat;（不定式作something的后置定语）
something(名词或代词) else important to tell you
英语中凡是修饰something/anything/everything/nothing;
nobody/anybody/anyone/somebody/ someone/ everybody/everyone等
复合不定代词的词、词组、短语等都必须放在这些词的后面。
2. That is the man(名词或代词) named Jim.
（过去分词短语namedJim作名词man的后置定语）

（现在分词短语wantingto buy cars作people的后置定语）
2. The girl in red is called Kate.
（介词短语in red作名词girl的后置定语）
The black pencil on the desk must be John’s.
（介词短语on thedesk作名词pencil的后置定语）
3. The restaurant nearby is cheap.
（地点副词nearby作名词restaurant的后置定语）
The man downstairs is an old man
（地点副词downstairs作名词man的后置定语）

1. I have not enough paper(paper enough.)
（enough放在名词的前后均可）
The suit is cheap enoughfor me to buy.
（enough必须放在形容词或副词的后面）
The boy didn’t run fast enoughto catch the bus.
2. There is little time left.
（left表“剩下/余下”时，只作后置定语）
3. Whatelse do you want to talk about?
（else只能作后置修饰语，放在疑问代词/副词/复合代词之后）

（数字作后置定语，常译成“第”，即第40课/405号房间。）
（数字也可作前置定语，如two books）
The fortieth lesson.
（序数词作前置定语）
2. This is the place that they are looking for.
（句子作后置定语，叫定语从句）
The man who lives next to us is a policeman.
（定语从句为：who lives next to us）
A plane is a machine that canfly. （定语从句为：that can fly）
The songs which he sang were very popular. （定语从句为：he sang）

1. 单个的形容词或名词作定语时，大多前置在它所修饰的名词或代词之前，如：
