He said that he read a research before. It says that, to a certain extent,
having money will make raising kids a bit easier, but only to a certain point,
which is about $75K household income. If the household income is higher
than that, it will actually make things harder.

昨晚跟儿子一起读I Have a Dream by Martin Luther King, Jr.
半个世纪又过去了，现今的米国，种族矛盾依然，唉！

Netflix又有了不少新电影。
去看了Romeo + Juliet，才知道电影里的台词是莎士比亚的原文，这是我第一次看罗密欧与朱丽叶。
一直不是小李的粉丝。看Titanic的时候惊艳了一下，但故事太dramatic，看了两三遍之后就不能再看了。
Romeo + Juliet是96年上映的，比Titanic早一年。
小李和Claire很般配，蛮符合我的想象。

一部《白宫风云》The West Wing，很多好听的歌，不过印象最深的两首，一首是Jeff Buckley的Hallelujah，另一首是Dire Straits的Brothers in Arms。
Dire Straits恐怖海峡，这个曾经在上世纪八十年代的英美风云一时的摇滚团队，组建于1976年伦敦，乐队的灵魂人物是吉它兼主唱马克• 诺弗勒（Mark Knoptler），他同时也是歌曲的主要创作人。
Brothers In Arms 是Dire Straits20多年乐坛生涯的代表作品，足以让他们在摇滚圣殿上刻下自己的名字。这首歌是有感于当时刚刚结束的英阿马岛之争而作。主唱Mark Knopfler似唱非唱，似说非说，是带着呢喃的吟唱，把整首歌的悲凉意境渲染得极为到位。由这首歌主打的同名专辑在1985年连续9周蝉联美国Billboard排行榜冠军，全球发行超过3500万张。

Holiday traditions in the Northwest start on the water with Argosy Cruises.
The Argosy Cruises Christmas Ship festival is a holiday celebration that
has been a Pacific Northwest tradition since 1949. Every year, the Argosy
Christmas Ship sails to different Puget Sound waterfront communities,
over 45 in total. Choirs onboard sing 20-minute performances to these
communities, all broadcast via state-of-the-art speaker system. On shore,
thousands of people gather around roaring bonfires anticipating the
arrival of the Christmas Ship.
