Any company that makes consumer goods is likely at some point or another to face a product recall. Most of those recalls are handled quickly and quietly, but not in the car industry. In fact, some might argue that until recently the way the automotive industry has handled recalls is a lesson in how not to do it. Yet, the list of manufacturers issuing recalls is an industry's Who's Who, including General Motors or GM, FAW Toyota, Rolls-Royce, BMW, and all that in an industry where safety should be a priority.
