^_^ Animals are our friends. We should protect them. Some animals are endangered, such as Sumatran rhinocerous. There are no more than 25 Sumatran rhinocerous in the world. Luckily, most countries carry out laws to protect endangered animals. But we also need to care about ordinary animals.

^_^ As we all know, dogs are our loyal friends. In America, according to the federal animal protection laws, those who abuse dogs will receive economic punishment or even legal punishment. What's more, by law, when people tie the dogs, enough space should be left. And people are not allowed to lock a dog in a narrow space. Besides, Animal Protection Association bans dog's owners or attendants from leaving dogs alone for more than 10 hours. If they have to do so, they can leave their dogs in dog shelters.

Tortoises are nature to human's gift as well, therefore California have passed a law to protect them, which requires a special "Tortoises Passport" to feed tortoises.So if you don't have such qualification, even if you own tortoises, it's illegal to feed them.
