We have the great honour of THE PHONE CALL being selected as one of 12 finalists in The Shortlist Film Festival, run by TheWrap (Hollywood’s top online film industry portal, with a huge worldwide readership). The finalists in this competition have all won major film festivals (ours being Tribeca, Aspen, Krakow and Dresden).
Shortlist Film Festival is incredibly high-profile (in association with Youtube, MTV and Epix) – opening our film to a truly global audience and placing it in the hallowed Academy’s consciousness…

It is with the greatest happiness we can announce that last night The Phone Call won Best Narrative Short at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival!!
An amazing honour and proud congratulations go to director Mat Kirkby, who crafted this film with total dedication.
Thank you to the incredible cast of Sally Hawkins, Jim Broadbent, Edward Hogg and Prunella Scales. Similar thanks go to all the crew and everyone involved in making The Phone Call.
Thank you to Tribeca Film Festival (including Ben Thompson and Sharon Badal) for being impeccable and lovely hosts.
Thank you to the Tribeca Jury: Alfonso Arau, Whoopi Goldberg, Christine Lahti, Sheila Nevins and Paul Wesley. You all rock!!
