建议用 achieving 来代替 getting 是有原因的。因为 get 这个动作本身就有“do”的含义，所以为了跟后面的 doing 区分，用 achieving 会更好一点。并不是很书面的说法。

Get:得到，　获得，比较口语话． 
不常在日常口语中的文献里，听到 Achieve.

gaining 的宾语比较有限制，connotation 不像是自己想要得到的，而是副作用地得到 
比如体重，年龄，经验

senior这里是老兵嘛？有没有更好的词呢？

 还有几个小小的建议，仅供参考： 

烈士：Martyr很好，想换个说法的话我觉得可以用the honrable dead. 

心远你们的翻译非常正规，词汇选得很好，唯一的小小意见是，我看了几处，感觉口语化不足，有些地方的口语使用不是很地道。 

但你们在书面语方面的翻译能力比我强多了。看了你们那段，我学到了“番号”的英文——unit designation，谢谢：）

We were on the grassland...you know...er... and we, we have stones...I have collected some for you, for every one... 


“严肃一点！”可不可以翻成Get a grip!？

后面那一个throw it away如果改成简单的 NOW!怎么样？
