Long time ago.There was a huge statue called Happy Prince.The statue was really beautiful for it was made of gold and dimonds.When winter came,the kingdom was so poor that many people died of cold and hunger.Happy Prince began to cry.

Then a bird passed by,she saw the scene and asked"You are happy prince but why are you seems so unhappy."The prince answered"I saw people suffered so much that I cant help crying.Dear bird,would u please send my fortune to the poor?"

The bird agreed.She started to carry every piece of gold and diamond to the people in the unlucky kingdom.Soon winter went away,people were saved by the jewels,but the statue turned no longer beautiful.The bird also fell in love with Happy Prince and refused to fly south in winter.So she died on his shoulder.

The next morning,people went outdoors to welcome spring,they saw Happy Prince,who was a grey and ugly statue by then."Look!How ugly he is!""Lets put it down then."
So peple soon put down the statue,Happy Prince died not because of wound,but of heart broken.
