来自建筑师:传统的图书馆的主要功能之一是提供不受影响的阅读和工作的可能。除此之外,如今图书馆的新功能提供人们相遇、交流、激发
灵感的空间。在杜塞尔多夫海因里希•海涅大学建造O.A.S.E.医学图书馆的时候(注:O.A.S.E.是德语“交换、学习和发展场所”四个词的首字
母),其外立面就表达了这两层含义:在白色外墙表面上有机布设特殊形状的玻璃面板,形成图书馆开放性和隐密性的统一。网络状的结构象
征毛细血管,预示建筑物在医疗方面的作为。周边建筑大都建成于20世纪70年代,因此近40米高的高度使这座建筑成为未来地区的地标。
form the architect : The planning task for the new medical library of the University Hospital Dusseldorf was under the theme space adventure

design for the 38 meter high new foresaw a stacking of different functions. Onto received a total of ten levels of the building next to the
obligatory library facilities such as reading and lending areas, working and Study rooms, a cafeteria and spacious open lounge and event space.
The top section is a Rooftop terrace with uninterrupted views of the university campus. The various functions are a continuous Aufzugsund
Stairwell opened smoothly. Diagonally opposite the service core, the documentary lounges and sanitation contains. The cylindrical formations
of both cores on each floor create organic-looking spatial impressions.

瞰整个校园。
建筑的公共基础功能通过两个圆柱形的功能内核来完成,定制家具通过有机的造型和强烈的颜色呼应流线型的建筑造型。自2011/12冬季学期,
约六到八百余名学生已使用这栋建筑。
