BCBG Max Azri a fall 2011 New York Fashion Week handbagsBCBG sent the fall 2011 collection down the New York Fashion Week runway this morning and it was filled with 1970's silhouettes, black and white combinations,Gucci 2013, asymmetrical lines, long hemlines, layers, Bordeaux and deep sunset blue. The fabrics were soft and flowing creating movement as the models walked the catwalk. Max Azria used soft,Gucci Hobos, dreamlike prints paired with solid white and black backgrounds creating an easy layered theme throughout the show. The handbags that Maz Azria showed in his BCBG collection were mostly clutches; both soft and box. There was also an appearance by the cross body bag, signaling the staying power of the spring trend.BCBG showed more intricate designs for the clutches in the fall 2011 collection as opposed to what was shown for spring 2011. The daytime clutches included texture such as stamped crocodile leather and showier hardware than in past seasons. The box clutches also featured textured leather and the use of multiple shades of color and colors that blend together well such as brown and tan.
