Appearance:
The wine is medium(-) color concentration, medium(-) ruby, low vicosity with hint of garnet rim.
Nose:
The wine has medium aromas intensity of unripe red fruit(red cherry, rasberry, strawberry), slightly of herbaceous ( grassy, hay,lavender), distinct of floral(blossom, rose, violet), and hint of oak followed by some complex bottle age characteristics(leather, forest floor, earth, mushroom,savoury), the wine is developing.
Palate:
The wine is dry with medium(+) acidity, medium(-) level of soft, velvety tannins. medium(-) body and medium alcohol with medium flavour intensity. The finish is medium(+) with some complexity.
Detailed quality assessment:
Outstanding. The wine is an exceptionally precise expression of pinot noir character, with unripe fresh red cherry,firm yet very fine tannins and refreshing acidity. the wine has reasonable concentration and benifit from the bottle ageing. It is showining a lot of coplexity reflecnting high quality fruit and bottle ageing flavour all of which follow through onto the medium(+) finish.
Potential for ageing:
Can drink now, but has potential for ageing. The distinct tertiary aroma show it is being peak at this moment.
