If the game is crashing and/or you get an error message, please try the steps below (in order) and attempt to launch the game after performing each one:
-- Delete (or rename) your mods folder.
-- Delete (or rename) your player folder.
-- Delete (or rename) your universe folder.
-- Delete (or rename) your starbound.config.
(Note that on the current Unstable branch the player folder, universe folder, and starbound.config are in the storage_unstable folder).
These steps (deleting the saves and config files) fix most errors. If you're still getting an error, then try the following:
-- Delete the Starbound directory and re-install the game. Delete it manually (browse to the Starbound folder and delete the entire folder), don't just "Remove Local Content" in Steam; Steam leaves stuff behind that can continue to cause issues after re-installing. You can also verify the game through Steam, but a few users have had success just doing a completely fresh re-install and since most of the download will be the assets file (which is usually the main file requiring re-download during verification anyways) you may as well start with a known fresh install to save yourself some trouble.
If you can't get satisfaction at this point, check the In-Game & Billing Support forum to see if a thread is already open with this issue. Note that you can click on the yellow "Bug/Issue" tag to see all open/current Stable issue threads, and clicking on a "Bug/Issue (Unstable Branch)" tag will allow you to see all threads related to Unstable. If you don't see one matching your issue, start a new thread with the following details:
-- The behavior that you saw (that you think is an issue, be specific).
-- The behavior you expected to see (be specific).
-- Steps you've taken so far to attempt to fix the issue.
-- A copy of your starbound.log (you can either use a service like pastebin or post the contents directly between spoiler tags, note that the current Unstable stores the log in the storage_unstable folder).
-- Screenshots of any error messages.
-- Version you're running, visible in your log or in the corner of the main game menu screen (Ex: "Version 643 Enraged Koala").

I've been running the Unstable build and I notice that I can't go to another planet. I've repaired my ship's drive and when I try to travel to another planet, my game just sits there warping indefinitely.
I expect that when I click on a planet to travel there, I should arrive after a short wait.
I've already tried deleting my universe folder and player folder, but that didn't seem to have any effect.
Here is a copy of my starbound.log:

Note that duplicate threads will be locked, so please ensure that there's not already an open thread (if an issue is still fresh an old thread may be re-opened and you may be asked to post there instead; this lets other people who had this issue know that it may not be completely resolved yet in addition to helping those who can fix these issues focus on the actual issue thread and not a bunch of duplicate threads).
Suggestions do not belong in the Support forums; please use the appropriate suggestions forum instead (a suggestion is considered [by me] to be discussion/opinion, or attempt at discussion/opinion, on something in the game that is not directly preventing you from playing or progressing and/or is obviously not related to the current issue). The Support forums are to help people having trouble with the game; extraneous threads about non-support stuff make it difficult to see where the actual issues are and prevent those people from being helped in a timely manner.
Some important things to know about the Unstable build:
-- Expect to wipe your player and/or universe folders to get things working again.
-- Stable saves may not be compatible with the Unstable build. You should backup your player and universe folders elsewhere before switching to Unstable from Stable.
-- Most mods are incompatible with the Unstable build. If you have any mods, please remove them and attempt to launch the game before reporting an issue. Issues caused by mods are not supported in these forums; you'll need to contact the mod author.
You may report issues you're experiencing in order to get help from the community (and bring the developers' attention to a bug), but you should not expect a personal reply from an official game developer. Ongoing issues are usually left open so that others can see that it's been reported (and so you can hear about it when someones finds out it's been fixed).
FYI:
-- Due to the high number of support threads that are abandoned by the person requesting help (the OP usually), if you don't respond to your thread after someone posts some things to try to help or asks for more info then your thread will most likely be locked after a couple of days of no response (from you). This is not to put pressure on you to respond; it is only to help ensure that those providing support can quickly filter out such threads so that their time can be spent helping those with ongoing issues. It's not a personal attack on you; no need to take it as such. If you went on vacation or something, don't sweat it! Just follow the steps below.
--If your thread was closed and you're still having that issue, please feel free to report the (preferably first) post stating that you're still having the issue and need the thread re-opened. (You can PM me instead if you need to, but be aware that other than letting you know it was re-opened, I don't discuss support issues in a PM. Doing so keeps others having the same issue from seeing possible fixes that they can perform.)

汉化还是自给自足或者等大神吧。。。我看着也有点吃力，而且今天也没时间。。。。

最后吐槽一下，这个罕见的“Resolved”（已解决）贴之所以标记为已解决，是有人告诉原帖的楼主这个问题其实是内存问题而不是游戏问题，于是原帖楼主关掉了谷歌浏览器，然后发现果然不报错了。。。。
我擦！这不是和某贴说的一样么。。。
然后原帖楼主就说：“看来我要检查一下内存，而且可能需要买一些新的内存条了。。。
为什么我关掉所有前台程序后却是完全卡死呢？。。。。看来我需要换电脑了。。。。
这个版本优化也太渣了吧？

在STEAM社区里某位热心玩家的指引下，我总算了解到了官方对这次风波的回应（周五）：

官方：我们发觉这个版本的游戏好像不支持XP系统哎，已经在做修复工作了！希望在接下来的几天里解决这个问题。抱歉，各位！
结论只有一个：各位XP党还是等官方出更新补丁解决弹窗问题吧。。。。果然是游戏优化的问题。
官方都承认是游戏不太支持XP系统了（虽然好像所有的系统都有这个问题，呵呵鱼你之前在干什么啊）
话说我在STEAM屎大棒社区上发的求助帖只捞到一堆同病相怜的苦逼啊。。。。。OTZ

只有这位友人给了我一个链接让我看到了上面说的官方的回应。。。

唉，或许正如最后这位仁兄所说，各位XP党最可靠最安全的解决弹窗问题的方法就是“等”。。。。
