I drove out to the site today (Saturday) and took some pictures. There was a very unfriendly security guard who wouldn't let me past the gate so I walked up the hill just outside the fence. It looks like all of the structural steel and roof for the first phase is finished. There are large dirt areas on both sides of the existing structure but no sign of any foundation work there.
Center of factory... roof first layer is complete and it is a complete rectangle with cross bracing all around.
North end of factory... nothing going on here
South end of factory... just a few piles of beams
Nevada is overrun with wild horses. Here's a herd grazing near the site.
