There is an option in settings => saving and startup => landing page - turn it ON. restart the game, make sure it is still on. If it is - this must fix your right click crashes.
The crash can be easily tested\stimulated. Start a game with a landing screen off. Just load single player, throw a grenade, get in a car, aim\rightclick. If it is your case, game will crash. Start a game with a landing screen on, repeat grenade > car > aim - no crash. Glad if it helped.
