Technology is completely embedded in business, and organizations demand people who understand both technology and business. Our Bachelor of Business Technology Management (BBTM) degree will help you bridge the gap between the business and technology departments of an organization in any industry.
Our program will provide you with the skills to evaluate, select and implement technology-based solutions to business problems. You’ll learn to assess the value that a specific technology brings to a particular organization, and you’ll understand how technologies can be used within existing systems. We focus on developing critical thinking, interpersonal communications and collaboration skills.
Demand is high and growing fast for professionals with the capability to add strategic value by aligning business and technology. The Information Technology Association of Canada has indicated that there are over 200,000 professionals in business technology management jobs today and demand is expected to increase over the next several years.
To ensure you’ll graduate with a competitive advantage, all students in this program are automatically enrolled in Canada’s largest business degree co-op program.
Program Highlights
As a BBTM student, you’ll be automatically entered into our co-op program. Many co-op job opportunities exist in high-tech companies and in the IT departments of other companies around Ontario.
