大家好，我是14级的张津豪。今年由我们来负责MUN社团的招生工作。相信很多学弟学妹对模联很陌生，那么我就用官方的语言解释一下。
模拟联合国 (Model United Nations)，简称模联(MUN)，是对联合国大会和其它多边机构的仿真学术模拟，是为青年人组织的公民教育活动。在活动中，青年学生们扮演不同国家或其它政治实体的外交代表，参与围绕国际上的热点问题召开的会议。代表们遵循议事规则，在会议主席团的主持下，通过演讲来阐述观点，为了“国家利益”辩论、磋商、游说。他们与友好的国家沟通协作，解决冲突；通过写作决议草案和投票表决来推进国际问题的解决。在模拟联合国，青年学生们通过亲身经历熟悉联合国等多边议事机构的运作方式、基础国际关系与外交知识，并了解世界发生的大事对他们未来的影响，了解自身在未来可以发挥的作用。
我校的模联属于八个校级社团之一，每年都会代表学校参赛。对英语口语，英文写作，翻译，口语表达等有兴趣的同学可以来加入我们。今年我们代表学校参加了山东省第三届模拟联合国大会，获奖率达到了2/3，全省第一。今年招生主要面向英语口语，翻译，社交这几个方面。当然，如果你的其他突出的表现也可以加入我们。每年的大会都会吸引全省乃至全国的模联人参加，由于大会要求全英，所以对英语十分依赖。
希望各位学弟学妹，学长学姐，有兴趣或者有意向的，在开学两周后的社团选课中，加入我们，成为一个模联人，谢谢！

Sport is an effective tool for development. For that matter of fact, Cuba recommended that sports must be integrated into the national development agenda, the government should increase funding of sport, the United Nations and the sports world must develop partnerships. United Nations, through the implementation of sports programs to help governments and peoples to achieve the Millennium Development Goals and to promote the world peace and development. Cuba was once a strong country for its economy and sports development. They once or still holds the world record of Cuban judo, wrestling, middle and long distance running. For example, at the 2000 Olympic Games, due to the US blockade against Cuba and the Cuban athletes were insulted by the athletes from the United States, and lost the gold medal. We hope that States may actively developing plans to promote sports development in the cause of sport for development in cooperation with the United Nations brfore 2016 Olympic Games in Russia, urged all countries to join this growing civic movement, became one of our team, use the power of sport to build a better world for all of us.
