I know I'm probably gonna get a lot of hate for this but I'm sharing my experience at the Red Carpet Premiere in LA last night...
No spoilers here... Just a few observations. I always go to most AHS events every year (PaleyFest, comic con and the screenings) so last night I went to the Regal Cinemas in DTLA for all the red carpet madness. The cast was incredibly sweet as always. I was able to speak a little bit with Finn, Evan and Denis at the end. Everyone else also signed and took pictures with the fans when they got there around 5pm, but Denis, Finn and Sarah were the only ones to actually do it TWICE. (Not that it's a big deal. It just really shows how much they care for the fans.)
Now here's the interesting part: Most of the fans at the premiere - and I gotta say there weren't many - were actually Gaga fans and not really AHS fans. I heard so many people talking about how they didn't care for any of the cast members and were only there to see Gaga or how some of them never watched the show before but were so excited for the new season. The irony is that when the screening was finally over a very small group of fans waited outside close to the parking lot to see Gaga. Only a few people seemed to actually be there for the other cast members. Denis and Finn crossed the street and talked to EVERY fan in line, even the ones that probably didn't know who they were. Hell, even Ryan Murphy waved and smiled from a distance. Gaga was the last one to leave the building. Her car was parked out front and her driver was waiting, so as soon as she walked out everyone screamed and called her name. And even though she was 10 feet away she pretended not to hear anything, kept talking to the guy next to her and simply got in the car. She didn't even bother to wave or acknowledge her fans for a second, so everyone started booing her -except for her hardcore fans I'm assuming - lol which was kind of extreme but pretty funny to me. It was just funny to see all the people who said they weren't there for the original cast members being completely ignored by the one person they waited hours to see. There will be some complaints next week for sure and I honestly hope they tone her down/give her less screentime in future episodes. From what I've seen tonight her ego seemed bigger than her talent.
