Tony Bennettrecently celebrated his 89th birthday – which included amassive cakeand serenade from close friend andCheek to Cheekduet partner,Lady Gaga.
The unlikely duo wrapped up their world tour several months ago and since, Gaga has been busy starring as the Countess in season 5 ofAmerican Horror Story
Unfortunately, the legendary jazz crooner has received strict orders not to tune into her latest project.
"Gaga told me, 'Don't let Tony watch it!'" Bennett's wife, Susan Crow, told PEOPLE during the American Natural History Museum Gala.
"I told Gaga I was watching it and she said, 'Please don't let Tony see it – I'm serious! Don't let him watch it!' And now that I've seen some of it I'm like, 'Oh, I understand!'"
Crow thinks Gaga'sAHSperformance is just "great" – and though she says the hit show "might be a little much" for her husband, she thinks Bennett would enjoy it.
"They have a very good relationship," Crow, 49, says of the pair. "We love Gaga."
Bennett, 89, and Gaga, 29, will both be performing for theAll-Star Grammy Concerthonoring Frank Sinatra, airing on CBS on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 9 p.m. EST/PST.
