竞赛作文原稿:Pray for Paris
On November 13th night in Paris, the shot, detonation and people’s cries shrouded the entire city. The hopelessness, fright and sadness surrounded all the people.
In the next morning, I read the news on TV. It was said that Paris was attacked by terrorists. There were many explosions and shooting incidents in theaters, gymnasiums and bars. And there had been a soccer match in one of the gyms before an incident happened. So far, 140 people in Paris had lost their lives.
The reason why the terrorists attacked Paris may be about the problems of religion or military affairs. They may want to put the war back again and get more rights from it. But more people want to live in peace. So I think the terrorists will be brought to justice.
Although it was the darkest night in Paris, the bright of humanity was blown out. Taxis took people home for free after bus and metro lines were closed. Strangers on Twitter said they would welcome people to come their home to keep out of danger. Many of them went to the hospital and donated blood.
Eiffel Tower put out the lights and the landmark buildings in many countries gave out red, blue and white lights for French.
Pray for Paris, pray for the peaceful world!

In the morning of the next day, I saw the news on TV and heard that Paris was attacked by ISIS terrorists. In that very night, there were many explosions and shooting incidents took place in theaters, gymnasiums and bars. Moreover, there had been a soccer match in one of the gyms attacked before an incident happened. According to the data online, 140 people in Paris had lost their lives so far. Many people claim that the reason why the terrorists attacked Paris might be due to religious conflicts or military affairs. If this is the case, then those terrorists may want to conduct more attacks to achieve their goals and earn interest. Thus, in my perspective, the only way to bring peace back again to those innocent citizens is to bring the terrorists to justice.
After all, although it was the darkest night in Paris, people’s hearts had been warmed up by the brightness of humanity. I am moved by the fact that many taxis took people home for free after the bus and metro lines were closed. Besides, many people on Twitter expressed their empathy and hospitality that they would welcome the victims, who are strangers to them, to their home and provide them warm and safe environment. In addition, many people even went to local hospitals and donated blood to the victims. What’s more, even Eiffel Tower and many landmark buildings all over the world displayed red, blue and white light to memorize those people who passed away during the Paris massacre.
