在《弃卒》中，博比的妈妈是犹太人 也是共党；电影一开始有一段对话，就是当时特别反某党的麦卡锡传召疑似党员们去谈话。电影里说，被传召的一半是犹太人 一半是某党。据说 当时犹太人在某党中的比例比较高。这个也是有“历史传承”的。据说在三四十年代时就这样了：
