Don’t let the reckless marble risk
garrulous trangressions to the omnipotence of oblivion,
enumerating with prolixity
the name, the opinion, the events, home.
The fundamental aspect of dead life
–the fleeting hope,
the unyielding miracle of pain and the wonder of pleasure,
will forever persist.
The arbitrary soul blindly protests continuum
when other lives have assured it,
when you yourself are the mirror and the reply
of those who did not reach your time
and others will be (and are) your immortality on this earth.
