妙 连 句 子
在英文书信中，连接句子可是一门学问。同一个句子，由於使用不同的连接方法，能以好几种面目展现在你的面前。下面，我们就来看看到底有哪几种连接句子的方法吧：
1．使用连词 Conjunction
时间 Time: before, after, while, when, as
原因、结果 Reason, Cause or Consequence: and, because, as, so that（所以，因此）,
so… that（如此……，以致於……）, such a … that（如此……，以致於……）
转折 Contrast： but, although（尽管……）
* I called her back so that I could confirm one or two details.
* The goods were repacked so quickly that we had no time to inspect them.
* The consignment was delivered while we were very busy.
2、使用状语短语 a link adverbial phrase
时间 Time：Before that, After that, And then, During this time
原因、结果 Reason, Cause or Consequence: Because of this, This is why, As a result,
Consequently（结果……）
转折 Contrast：Nevertheless, However
* I wanted to confirm one or two details. That is why I called her back.
* The consignment was delivered on Friday. During this time we were very busy.

转折 Contrast：in spite of
