Recently one thing really saddens me. I applied for the ASCE competition. Our college has a pre-chosing procedure and I thought it was safe for me coz the interviewer knows me. He went to S.Korea this summer with us. I chose the professional paper compitetion and virtuely did some research. This paper competition only requires one participant from each university.
The other interviewees are really good. One has a GPA as high as 4.8, and one is previously an English major and another wins a lot of medals in English writing competitions. Yet I did believe that I have a fair chance to win. However the last 10 days' waiting has proved my arrogance and wishful thinking. One of my classmate, who is no better than me in any respect, is now a member of the Soil Mechanis Competition team, who will fly to US next march for the finals.
Even worse thing I found is that my German progess. It is really frustrating to remember all these positive, negative and neutral nouns. They have no rules. Their irregularity is beyond my imagination like sun is a negative noun. excuse me??? Every morning like I have classes and weekends Deutschkurs. Literally it's very busy.
And I cannot intall Revit2016 on my PC.....................😭
