项目名:Adaptive Control with Networked-induced Constraints: An Uncertain Switched System Approach
简介:
The development of autonomousnavigation techniques with the ability to cope with large uncertainties (bothin the mobile robot dynamics and in the surroundingenvironment) constitutes one of the major research challenges in robotics. While adaptive control methodologies are widely adopted fornavigation tasks, a crucial gap to be filled is the reliable deployment ofadaptive control systems in a networked navigation setting. Infact, a shared communication medium introduces network imperfections (delays, pocket dropouts, etc.) that current adaptivecontrol methodologies cannot cope with. We offer a PhD position aiming at developing a novel adaptive approach based on uncertainswitched systems that can handle in a systemic way networked-inducedconstraints. The relevance of this research is directly connected to thedevelopment of enhanced autonomous navigation systems for robotic autonomousagents accomplishing different tasks and involving a large dynamic workingrange.
要求:
+ An MSc degree in Systems and Control, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
+ Strong background in modelling and control of hybrid and networked systems
+ Excellent publication record will be evaluated very positively
+ A good command of the English language is required
申请方式:
发送以下材料到S.Baldi@tudelft.nl
Letter of application along with a detailed CV, a research statement indicating background and interests and how they align with the position (around one page long), a list of publications, title and abstract of BSc and MSc dissertations, BSc and MSc course program and corresponding marks, contact information for at least two academic references and all other information that might be relevant to your application
