Welcome to the New Alex Band Site!
Hey everyone! Welcome to my new site!!! I’m gonna be blogging here every so often and adding lots of new cool stuff, so keep checking back for more. Currently I’m putting the finishing touches on the “Live from Brazil DVD” and I am planning to have it available to you all beginning of next year! And the best news of all...the album will finally be released middle of next year! We plan to put the first single out a bunch of months before hand, so get ready! I can't tell you how good it feels to finally be able to say that! Also, a couple of weeks ago I did something really new and cool that you will all get to see the second week of January. I guest-starred in a CSI NY episode! I play a drugged out musician who is a suspect in a murder. I got to play snippets of a couple of my new songs live in scenes and of course act! I also had to do a bunch of stunt work which was wild…I got some crazy ass bruises! Anyway, there will be more acting in the future, but this is definitely one of the biggest things I’ve done yet and I can’t wait until you guys can see it! Also, to all you Brazilian fans, as you know I will be coming back to Brazil this week! I know…so soon! I plan to stay for around 2 weeks. I am coming for meetings and also to work on a song Arms and I wrote for a Brazilian female artist who is also a popular actress named Marjorie Estiano. Her and I will be performing this song together as a single. I’ll let you know more info about it soon. And of course while I’m there I will be playing a bunch of acoustic shows around the Country! Check the tour date section here to see which cities I will be playing and when. I’ll be bringing Arms with me down to Brazil for this trip so the acoustic shows are sure to sound awesome.
