Yi Jianlian was finally able to use his right hand Tuesday at shootaround, freed from the cast he’d been wearing since he broke his pinkie on January 9, the last time the Nets played the Bucks. Yi worked out with Kiki Vandeweghe Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lawrence Frank admitted that he doesn’t keep in touch with Richard Jefferson, who visits the Meadowlands for the first time as a Nets opponent.

I wonder why RJ doesn’t keep in touch with Frank? Because he doesn’t like him! That’s why! So management gets rid of the players who don’t like Frank and keep the coach…how’s that worked out for us after all these years? Makes me sick that Thorn continues to praise Frank when he really hasn’t done anything but been medicore.

while we all want to win because losing sucks, this year was exciting because of devin,brook and yi. Brook has been great, same for devin. Yi had a slow start and started to play very very well and boom he got injured.
if Yi comes back and plays like he did the last couple of games where he is NOT solely a spot up shooter we will be in good shape. he needs to continue to attack the rim and mix up his game. not sitting outside waiting for passes from vince and devin.
im excited to get him back

brook is very long and a true 7 footer. He helps change shots along side brook. he’s not a good overall defender and needs to get a lot stronger. But his length is missed because he has long arms. This may be a blessing in diguise because he’s played a lot of basketball over the last year. So let’s hope he’s fresh.

Thorn is full of crap, but who really expects him to trash the head coach while he’s still employing the man?
Supreme brings up an excellent point. While Yi’s injury is a set back, the kid has been able to get some much needed rest. We’ll need a fresh, energetic Yi after all star break to hit his inside the arc jumpers, attack the basket, rebound, and help Brook with the defense down low.
