It has been a couple of years since I left my old neighborhood and all the friends I had there to start my own business in Guangzhou. Although they are far away, they are always on my mind. Sometimes on a star-lit night I look in the direction of my hometown, as if to see what they are doing in the distance.
I keep in touch with my friends via WeChat almost every day. I text messages, send photos, and share my happy moments with them. Of course they would always send me congratulations on my success and comfort and encourage me whenever I face a tough time in my career.
While I am doing business with my customers, I usually ask them to scan my WeChat QR code. This is an easy way to form connections. This way, I have made an awful lot of WeChat friends. I estimate that they amount to about 150. No matter what profession these friends are in, they all mean a lot to me.
