原文的外观描写素这样的：Suddenly into view below came a white horse, gleaming in the shadows, running swiftly. In the dusk its headstall flickered and flashed, as if it were studded with gems like living stars.
至于他的性能（大汗....怎么觉得自己在说汽车...）依据Glorfindel的说法：my horse will not let any rider fall that I command him to bear. His pace is light and smooth; and if danger presses too near, he will bear you away with a speed that even the black steeds of the enemy cannot rival.
可以看出Asfaloth的速度快而且平稳...最重要的一点是... Asfaloth ‘will not let any rider fall that I command him to bear’就是说像我这样小脑极度不发达的人依然可以很轻松的驾驭 Asfaloth，前提当然是Glorfindel允许（pia飞你个花痴的...）
因为Asfaloth更温顺也更安全，所以比起同样具有速度与俊美的shadowfax，我个人是更喜欢Asfaloth。*^_^*
Beloved 受崇敬的，被热爱的
在Glorfindel大战炎魔之前他就是“most dearly beloved”..所以他的牺牲不让人心碎都难啊...至于这之后他的被热爱程度....你觉得我还有说的必要么？
Charming 迷人的
很不hd的说，在看LOTR中第一次看到Glorfindel的出场条件发射的想到了童话中的prince charming～（小时候深受“白马王子”思想的毒害= =！）
因为看电影是在看原著之前，所以对书中那么少的Legolas的外貌描写报以小小的不满...，不过描写了这么完美的Glorfindel....我还有什么好抱怨的呢？
