I’m excited to kick off the season, get intothe car and race. We have every reason to be confident as our car is great, wehave a great team and we came here well prepared, even if, ideally, you wouldwant to be able to test more during the winter – and there are many things tocome. Of course, around this point you don’t know what the others have done sofar. Australia has treated us well generally: we won here last year, nearly wonthe year before and got on the podium in 2015. The key to the championship willbe to have a strong car at the beginning and at the end of the season and totry and be competitive at all races. Now obviously, the best satisfaction is towin with Ferrari, the greatest team with the greatest history in the paddock.To win with Ferrari, beating the best, is my target.

It’s been a rather dull day of work, like everyFriday. We tried to chase the balance because I didn’t feel completelycomfortable at first, but I’m not worried about that because I know that if wedo everything right, the car should be in better shape. It looks like we areclose, which is good news, so we should be able to do something tomorrow. Thistrack is particularly tricky, in that if you don’t nail it at first, then thereis quite of bit of lap time to be found, and I think we still have muchpotential to extract. The car is fine; it’s not where we want it to be yet, butif we keep on working, it should be ok. I really hope to make a bigger stepthan the others.
今天就跟平时的周五一样，是个比较枯燥的工作日。我们尽力想要寻找平衡，因为一开始我感觉不是很舒服，但是我并不为此感到担心，因为我知道如果我们可以把每件事都弄明白，赛车应该会有更好的状态。看起来似乎我们离对手不远，这是个好消息，这意味着明天我们应该可以做些什么。这条赛道尤为棘手的一点是如果你一开始没有办法整好就会损失不少圈速，我认为我们还有很多潜力可以榨取。赛车还不错，当然还没有达到我们的预期，但是如果我们继续努力工作，应该是没问题的。我真的希望我们可以比其他队的进步更大。

Yesterday it didn’t feel like everything wasperfect, so today I am pretty happy that we could put both cars right at thefront, very close to pole. I guess it’s a good shot. The gap to Lewis issignificant of course, and we don’t want to be so far behind. But the car todaywas getting better and better: I could feel it was coming alive duringqualifying; on my last run I made a small mistake at Turn 13, but it’s ok assecond and third position are good for the race and, as we have seen in all thepast years, we tend to be closer on Sunday than we are in qualifying.
昨天感觉并不是一切都完美，所以今天我很高兴我们两辆车都能在前面离杆位不远的位置发车。我想这是一个好的契机。当然和刘易斯之间的圈速差距很大，并且我们也不想落后这么多。但是今天赛车的感觉是越来越好的：我能感觉到赛车在排位赛过程中逐渐活过来了；在我的最后一个冲刺圈时我在13号弯犯了一个错误，但是这问题不大，因为第二和第三的发车位子对比赛来说挺好，而正如我们前几年看到过的那样，在周日我们通常会比周六更接近对手。

Today has been our day. The Safety Car helpedof course, but apart from that, I think we did everything we could do as ateam. So when something happened, we were ready to react. We did our job beforethe race, evaluating different scenarios, and then in the race we had the paceas well. Lewis was under pressure, he was fast, but not as much as he needed.As for me, I need a little bit more of confidence with the car, which is notwhere we want it to be yet. There is a lot of work to do, but it is great tohave both cars on the podium today. Yesterday in qualifying the car came alive,but it was still a little bit tricky, so we have some homework to do. I stillneed to drive around the issues more than I want to. I know exactly what Iwant, and we need to work on it. I believethe car has the potential we need.
今天是我们的好日子。安全车当然帮了忙，但是撇去这个不说，我想我们作为一个团队做了所有我们能做的。所以当有事情发生时，我们可以随时做出反应。我们在比赛前也做好了工作，评估了各种不同的策略，而在比赛中我们也有不错的速度。刘易斯受到了压力，他很快，但是并不像他所需要的那样快。就我自己而言，我需要对赛车有更多的信赖，这点上我们还需要努力。我们面前还有很多工作要做，但是今天两辆车都能上领奖台真的很棒。昨天在排位赛里赛车活过来了，但是我们仍然有些功课要做。我依然只能比我所想要的更多去将就一些问题。我很清楚自己需要什么，而我们会努力攻克问题的。我相信这辆赛车有我们所需要的潜力。
