That's awesome! I'm surprised by your discovery, and as a programming lover, I also have serveral questions about it. 1, Why do the calculator "execute" the code inputed in the buffer? I mean, I totally have no idea about the reason why the buffer overflow affects the normal execution of the original program. 2, According to the conversations above, I've got that the maximum code length is around 3KB. However, as I know, the size of the overflow buffer is around 90B, which is far less than 3KB. How to input the binary code whose size is more than that of the overflow buffer? Or is there any way to change the start address of the overflow buffer? I would appreciate it if you give answers to these questions, thank you.
@user202729 I've just found that the ES series can enter the basic overflow(LineIO),sobdo you have the ES ROM?Can them be programmed? PS:Test passed on my fx-991ES(Version B)
just scrolling through lz's previous post and i found this “data loader” hackstring. Pretty sure its possible to make this a 96*15 painter for 991es plus hahaha make some typos in the pictures tho
