It has been a long time ever since I heard people go “wow” at a magazine cover in Singapore. It’s not unusual to wow about a nice international magazine cover like Vogue or Vanity Fair. Well, the lastest issue of Style Men definitely brought it back to our own grounds. Christopher was pictured by one of our very own local favourite, Chuando & Frey (CDF). I can’t help but feel proud for them when I hear all the good things my clients and friends have to say about the cover and spread inside.
I must admit that it wasn’t easy at all during the shoot, especially when CD wasn’t feeling well. But knowing him for so many years (ever since his modeling days), he would always give his best at every job. It was a great team put together for Christopher with Cindy Goh, Brenda Tham and myself. Christopher was groomed to his best and really looked the part to impress. Nevertheless, I must mention that despite being asked to wash off the initial hairdo to create a different look, Christopher still maintained a calm, accommodating and didn’t kick up any fuss. Such humble star quality is rare these days. Keep it up, Chris!
I hope Brenda continues this effort and impress us with such beautiful pictures every month. The standard has been set and it may not be easy to maintain and upkeep but it will be possible with such undying passion and commitment to one’s job. Speaking of which, I have been so busy with work lately that I have to forgo a special appearance on Kym Ng’s programme on tv. I truly appreciate the thought and would have loved to make it for the cooking episode, but my schedule with Yuan Yuan, Ziyi and Fann&Chris’ wedding didn’t allow. But I do hope I will be given another chance to work with Kym on the programme again soon. Hopefully, I’d be able to squeeze out some time in between by jobs in Tokyo and all in the next month.
But for now, I’m going to give my full support on Fann&Chris’ wedding that is just around the corner. I can’t wait for the day I watch them both walk down the aisle in the Shangri-la ballroom. It will be a night that brings my children and grandchildren together in one place… till then, have a good weekend
