本次讲座分为两个部分：
1、如何运用语料回答Part1到Part3音乐类话题相关问题；
2、如何有效运用音乐类语料串讲其他话题。
在之前的系列讲座中，我们已经学习了如何让自己的雅思口语表达更加地道，了解了换题季高分答题套路，并且也学习了如何在考试中keep talking。本次讲座就带大家来实战运用这些技巧完美通关音乐类话题。
为什么要讲音乐类话题呢？
在2016.1-2019.4这10个季度中，音乐类话题在Part1、Part2中均被7次翻牌，真是名副其实的高频话题呢！
Part 1
其中，Part 1考题包括：
优米老师先为我们归纳了Part 1答题思路：
Type + Reason（+Example（5W1H））
5W1H包括What, When, Who, Where, Why, How
话不多说，优米老师立马用真题手把手教大家答题：
Q1: What kind of music do you like to listen to?
Q2: What kind of music do you dislike to listen to?
答题思路：Genre + Reason (+) or Reason (-)
Answer 1:
Genre—rock and roll (Heavy metal)
Reason (+)—fast tempos and strong beats —feeling: lift my spirits, pump up the crowd
Reason (-): noisy, make my ears hurt
Answer 2:
Genre—jazz
Reason (+)—have a pleasing melody, slow and soothing—feeling: soothe my nerves
Reason (-)—too slow, feel bored
Answer 3:
Genre—Electronic music
Reason (+)—rhythmic and lively—feeling: can’t help singing/dancing to the tune of it
Reason (-)—sounds awful, be not real
Q1: What kind of music do you like to listen to?
Type: I’m really into pop music.
Reason:
…, because mostly, …
it has a catchy tune
and the lyrics are quite simple and straightforward
Type: I’m really into pop music.

Example: I usually listen to it after work, which makes me feel at ease.
Q2: What kind of music do you dislike to listen to?
Type: I’m not so into heavy metal.
Reason: That sounds awful and makes my ears hurt.
Example: I never put this kind of songs in my playlist.
Q3: Do you play any instruments?
针对同学们的不同情况，优米老师为大家量身定制了三套答题思路：（热烈鼓掌！！）
Answer 1:
Yes（坚持不懈型）
What & When: I have learned to played the piano for about …(10) years/ since I was … (8 years old)
Now:
• I still keep practising nowadays
• and sometimes I’m invited to give a performance on the stage.
Answer 2:
Yes（半途而废型）
What & When: I took some guitar lessons when I was younger.
Now: But I don’t play it much nowadays, because I’m tied up with my work.
Answer 3:
No
Direct answer: No, I don’t.
Expectation:
• If I had an opportunity to take up a musical instrument, I would like to learn to play the guitar.
• I think it would be a good way to express my feelings.
Q4: Have you ever been a live performance?
如果去过：
Answer 1:
Yes
5W1H:
When & Who: Yes, last year, I went to a fantastic concert given by Bruno Mars with my friends.
Where: It was held in a stadium.
How—felt: The atmosphere was quite exciting because most of his songs could easily pump up the crowd.
小白烤鸭：如果回答没有看过现场演出，是不是注定只能送自己一首凉凉呢？
优米老师回答：当然不是啦，只要言之成理，拿高分不是梦!
具体如何回答呢？
Answer 2:
No
Direct answer: Well, I haven’t been to any live performance yet.
Reason:
• Mostly: tickets -- pricy
• Sometimes: the crowd – too crazy
• So: prefer to stay at home and enjoy it online
原来，这种问题是Part1中非常典型的一类题目—喜好类问题（Preference）！
仙女老师还为我们归纳了喜好类问题（Preference）的答题思路！
Preference:
Type + Reason (+ Example: 5W1H)
Experience (Do you …/ Have you ever …):
Yes: Past + Now
No: Reason (+ Expectation)
Part 2
搞定了Part1，下面让我们一起来看看过去10个季度考到的Part 2中音乐类话题！
优米老师以备受喜爱的电影《马戏之王》（《The Greatest Showman》）中的配乐（soundtrack）This is me为例，为小伙伴们剖析了如何搞定这道难倒万千烤鸭的神仙题目。
答题思路：
1. Who: The song is about a bearded lady who has experienced unfair treatment since she was born, simply because of her unusual appearance.
2. When: When she is not allowed to perform on the stage,
3. What (aim): She uses this song as a way of expressing her firm determination to pursue her dream, regardless of others’ sharp words.
这种答题思路同样适用于下面这个话题。
Describe a film or TV program that made you laugh.
You should say:
What the program is about
When you watched it
Who you watched it with
Why it made you laughed
优米老师结合去年轰动一时的电影《西虹市首富》，为我们解码了如何自如地回答这道题。
答题思路：
1. Who: The film is about a frustrated football player who leads an unpleasant life.
2. When: When he is told that he has an opportunity to get 1 billion yuan,
3. What (aim): he tries all means to meet the requirement, and a series of ridiculous things happen.
Result: Finally, he achieves his goal and lives happily with his wife.
*优米老师还额外分享了高分小tips：
把5W1H 和事件发生的 cause，process，result有机结合起来，使得答案既充实具体，又令人信服。
对于很多考生觉得词穷的explain why it is meaningful to you，优米老师也有妙招！
要回答这个问题，首先我们需要简单分析一下不同音乐类型的特色。
随随便便用上几个点，就能轻松征服考官呢！
比如：
why it is meaningful to you
• This song plays a great role in cheering me up in difficult times ...
• The fast tempos and strong beats lift my spirits whenever I feel down. It encourages me to believe in myself regardless of what others say…
Tips：add specific examples (5W1H)
总结：
Describe the story:
5W1H – cause, process, result
Explain the reason:
reasons + feelings + examples
Part 3
不知不觉，我们来到了Part3部分。优米老师首先扫清了困扰很多烤鸭的一大迷思：
“Part1和Part3感觉一样一样的啊，到底区别在哪里呢？”
优米老师回答：“Part 3属于客观题，不能掺杂个人主观的例子（personal examples）。”
并且一针见血地点出了Part 3问题的答题思路：
Part 3答题思路：
Answer + Opinion1 + Support1
Opinion2 + Support2

Part3音乐类话题常考题包括：
我们一个个来分析：
Q1 Do you think music is important?
Q2 Would you say people of all ages like the same type of music?
Q3 Is it better to go to a live concert or to listen to a recorded version?

优米老师以其中一些和感觉（feelings）相关的表达为例，示范了如何把音乐类板块的表达灵活运用到其他话题：

… They will cheer me up by encouraging me when I feel down.
P3: What are the benefits of doing outdoor activities?
Doing outdoor activities like … provides people with a good opportunity to release pressure and let off steam…
又或者是
P2：Explain why you like this book?
… The words and sentences in the book could lift my spirits during difficult times …and it encourages me to believe in myself …
